1. Service Overview
People Function provides an AI-assisted HR document platform. You choose a template, an AI assistant helps you complete it from the information you provide, and you can preview and download the finished document. The platform supports your HR operations; it does not replace professional HR, legal, or compliance judgment.
2. Subscription Tiers & Template Access
Your subscription grants access to the template categories included in your plan, as described on our published pricing page. Every plan we currently sell includes the full template library; if we ever offer a plan with a narrower selection, the pricing page will say which categories it covers, and the access included in your existing plan will not shrink during a term you have paid for. Templates you create or upload within your own workspace remain available to you regardless of plan. We may add, update, or retire platform templates over time.
3. AI-Generated Drafts & Human Review
Documents are produced with AI assistance and are drafts intended as a starting point. They must be reviewed by a qualified person before use and do not constitute legal, tax, or HR-compliance advice. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating every document before relying on it.
4. Support
Support is provided by email during business hours, with reasonable response times. Certain plan tiers include a set number of consultation (office-hours) sessions per year, as described on the pricing page and scheduled with the People Function team.
5. Data Handling & Sub-processors
We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To operate the service we rely on third-party sub-processors, including Anthropic (AI document generation), Resend (transactional email delivery, including sign-in codes), Stripe (payment processing), and Railway (application hosting and infrastructure). The current sub-processor list and our data-processing terms are maintained as part of the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum and may be updated as our infrastructure changes.
6. Availability — United States Only at Launch
At launch, the platform is offered to organizations located in the United States and is intended for U.S.-based use only. It is not directed to individuals or organizations in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom. Support for those regions, including the applicable data-protection terms, is planned as a future update.
7. Billing, Subscription Term & Auto-Renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance, on either a monthly or an annual term — whichever you choose at checkout. Unless you cancel before the end of the current term, your subscription renews automatically for another term of the same length at the then-current price. For annual terms, we send an email reminder at least 30 days before the renewal date, stating the renewal date, the amount, and how to cancel. A monthly term renews every month, which is shorter than that notice period, so no 30-day reminder is sent for it; your next renewal date is shown in your billing settings, where you can cancel at any time before it.
8. Refunds
